Bluetooth headsets are absolutely not cool, and they’re sort of a pain. Now come a pair of new headsets that may stretch your wallet a little, but at least one of them may also get your teenager to look twice. And for older people who are deluded enough to think that they can conduct a high-speed, one-handed chat without endangering anyone, these new devices are absolutely worth considering. The Voyager Pro doesn’t try to hide, nor does it try to be cute. The boom, which extends to the midpoint of the user’s cheek, fattens slightly at the tip, and features stainless steel windscreens faintly reminiscent of old-time radio microphones. The weighted earpiece looks unwieldy at first, but the device balances nicely — and securely — on one’s ear.
